Karin Kalda is an accomplished international marketing technology (“martech”) executive who excels in driving business growth and transformation through digital strategies and customer data platforms (CDPs). With nearly 20 years of experience, she integrates technology, people, and processes to deliver significant improvements in sales, operational efficiency, and ROI. Karin is a subject matter expert on leading software platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe, Tealium, and Twilio, and has worked with prominent clients including Samsung, Macquarie Bank, Singtel, and the government of Australia.

Born and raised in Estonia during its independence movement from the Soviet Union, Karin worked for the market-oriented Reform Party (liberals) and remains actively involved in Estonia’s innovative e-residency program. This program allows her to serve clients across the Asia-Pacific region, the US, Brazil, and the EU, while participating in the vibrant startup hub of Tallinn.

Karin is deeply passionate about marketing technology and data, with a particular focus on closing the education gap in this field. Her extensive knowledge in emerging CDPs and strong connections with major industry players position her as a vendor-agnostic trusted advisor with experience on both the agency and client sides.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Karin is dedicated to helping others in need and ensuring everyone has equal opportunities to choose their own path. She is actively involved in various charity organizations, leveraging her skills and resources to make a positive impact on the lives of others. 

Before embarking on her martech career, Karin was a professional beach volleyball player, competing at high levels and developing a high-performance mindset. She now applies this mindset to her professional life and enjoys passing on her knowledge and experience to others, inspiring them to achieve and bring out their very best.

Currently, Karin is the CMO and Board Director of Progressive Coaches and also runs her own consulting business. An entrepreneur at heart, she loves marketing and is committed to continuous growth in that space.
